Bison in a Blizzard at Yellowstone

Video by Michael Hodges

Bison are built to withstand harsh blizzards, with thick skin and fur so dense it provides insulation even in temperatures as low as -50°F (-46°C).

During storms, they clear snow to uncover grass, relying on their resilience to survive in such extreme conditions. This bison was filmed in Yellowstone National Park, USA.
